How good were they !

Just loved their music.......totally.. :-) 

Also loved that chick group the hearts.....Grrrowwll ;-)

I agree Peter the B52's were a GREAT airplane.....helped us win the war as I recall ;-)

That was the "Love Shack" band?

Haven't heard very many of their songs.

Heart, on the other hand, was one of my favorites.

I didn't care for Heart when I was teen but I have really become a fan as I "matured". I had a chance to see the Wilson sisters by them selves and acoustic a couple of years back. I should have gone.

I've been to a few Heart concerts, but I never saw them during their early days.

In any event, they have a pretty amazing string of hits.

My favorite incarnation of the band was when Howard Leese was their lead guitarist.

I have seen video that was not too old and Howard was still with them. They may get together from time to time. You are right, they are pretty good with him.

I love the B-52's. It was my first live concert ever and that was a million years ago. I heard that they are recording a new CD... should be interesting.

It's amazing how bands go from filling massive outdoor stadiums, for top dollar, to being seen on the county fair circuit.

Peter Frampton and Heart, being two examples.
