Do you have problems printing anything else? If not, I would redraw the ruler and try again. Attached is a ruler I drew in X3. Nothing special, just playing around.

Becky,
I have had a similar problem...and I pulled what little hair I have left out.....( thank goodness for epoxy, I was able to glue it back)
But as has been pointed out, the problem was not with the driver or with Corel, but with the file itself.
Try recreating a new file and see what happens.

You know, there are a few things in life that come along every now and then that just remind you how great life is...icing on the cake if you will. Not profound things that make you so thankful for good health or family because those should be sought and found and every day. I'm talking about the little things that are just the lagniappe of your day.
Some of those things for me include:

Seeing a bluebird in my backyard
Being the first one to open a new jar of peanut butter
Hearing Katrina and the Waves "Walking on Sunshine" on the radio (not on my ipod because that doesn't count)
walking out of a customer's office with their business in hand
and my personal favorite of today:
banging my head against a wall trying to solve a small stupid problem, coming here and presenting the problem and having several friends I haven't met yet help me fix it.
That is just the total happy ending to a day that was already pretty happy.
Thank you thank you thank you a thousand times thank you.....
The solution to the problem:
the logo the customer sent me...AAAGGHHH. LOL
I deleted it and the ruler printed...unbelievable.
I did manage to get a logo that didn't crash everything and all is well.
I will sleep easy tonight.
Thank you all again for checking in to this forum on a Saturday.
This forum and it's members totally ROCK!!
Becky

Becky,
I am SURE that I can speak for everyone and say we are glad you found the problem. Congratulations...and THANKS for point out the fact that it is usually the "little" things that bring the most joy to live.

Chuck-
And you really have to remember to look for those little things especially on the days when it's things that are equally small and insignificant (rulers and phone companies) causing you so much grief!!
Thanks
Becky
