OK, I just got the November issue (seems kinda thin) of "The Engravers Journal" a few days ago and just now briefly looked through it. On page 58 there is a small ad for ATI Automatic Transfer, Inc. which states they a have a new WHITE TONER for laser sublimation transfers. "Print Your Own LASER SUBLIMNATION TRANSFERS onto DARK cotton & 50/50% SHIRTS!"
1. Has anyone looked into this product? I have not heard any buzz about it until I saw the ad.
2. Is there a "Heavy" hand or feel left by this process?
3. They list the printer models compatible on their website.
I went to their web site and it seems like the transfers are still a work in process but since they put the ad in EJ, they must be fairly sure of the product.

Sounds pretty involved, to the point they state, it's not recommend for people who don't have fairly extensive experience with either full color sublimation or silkscreening.
There would definitely be a lot of experimentation involved, in climbing the learning curve.

There has been a post about this process on the "sister" site, DSSI...it was vapor ware when posted, and to this date, still vapor ..... Interesting that he would spend advertising $$'s for something he has still not seen a production level product on.

Doug,
Probably also explains why it is a small B&W ad...................
