It looks pretty Grainy (rasterized) on mine, WinXP and Explorer 7.
Wow, glad you are back, and I have not seen any other glitches.
Thanks, for all the hard work.

Thank you Bob.

When it's a labor of love, there's no hard work involved. :-)

Welcome back.

The header area appears to be shorter than it was in the past, therefore forcing the taller graphic into the shorter allocated space.

Fixed the image issue. As Dave noticed the header bar was smaller, so I had to just resize the existing image since I didn't have the original resulting in the jaggedness. I just went back to the older way of simply having that top frame be taller so we could use the standard height of the image.

Since there's no ETA on the marking messages as read from the beehive devs I'll look into writing a patch myself.

Eric,

Can you make the header bar taller than the logo so there is some white space above and below the logo? I just think it would make it more appealing, rather than having it stuffed into that space.

Is anybody seeing images in the signatures?

I'm not, but I do see a rectangle show up quickly and go away in those posts made by folks who have always had images in their sigs.

Dave, in trying to figure out why I'm not seeing signatures I looked at the source code for this thread and saw that your post listed a signature image, but when I tried to look at the image directly it was not found on your server. Here is the url shown in your signature:

The images are there under the consideration that they still exist. I see mine and some others. My signature image is on my website David Takes' was on his server that went down. I have not checked if the images stored here are still properly linked.

Yeah, I saw yours was working after I posted.

I also noticed that the other one I was seeing flash but not show up, which was Chucks, seems to also have been hosted on Dave's server. So that explains why I saw a couple different ones flash a box and not show up. They're both on the same server.

Dave,

My websites and images were on the same sever as the forum, they are still down. :-(

I'm in the process of moving everything over to GoDaddy, but I am running into some conflicts with the structure and security of my shopping cart program and GoDaddy's hosting restrictions. My saga continues.

Thanks for looking out for me. I may just post the signature on a different site and make the change in my signature.

David Takes' site is down and Chuck's logo was also stored there. You should see mine because it is on my server.

All can be seen now. I realized after my posting that others had already mentioned it. Next time I will read through all of the posts first.

Still having problems with this bug....any leadtime on the fix?

David may have the answer, I do not.

We also found a major bug in the ability to make a poll, at this time it is useless. More time to have Eric put in.

Brian,

According to the BH developers, the "Mark as Read" bug (and others) will be fixed in the next release, (0.7.2) which we were told would be out shortly after Christmas.

That's the official word. Time will tell how that translates into real world terms.

As always, if there are specific folders in which readers have no interest, those folders can be "minimized" by clicking the "-" symbol, located at the right-hand side of the folder title.

Using that option will allow the folder title itself to be seen and none of the posts within.
