Sales were up, margins lower. The problem was that Christmas was far later than normal and it was very frightening.
I actually engraved over $4,000 of merchandise on Saturday, Dec. 23. A new record, but still had a few slow times. You did not want to see me or try to have an intelligent conversation at the end of that day.

Sounds like it was worth it though.
Lots of work, but definitely worth it in the end.

It seems Christmas starts later and later every year.
I am glad you had a good season. Isn't it a wonderful feeling?
Can you come and visit when you get back from Florida? Are you going to Vegas?

I just read your message. (Kindof late)
Anyway, I was thinking about you and Harvey when we were driving back from Florida. I saw Newark, and said to Rick "this is where my engraver friends have their store" "I really have to get up to see them".
I cannot go to the LasVegas show, I just spent a month in Florida, so now it's makeup time. ha
Anyway, have a great time and I will try and get up to see you two in the spring.
I was having a good laugh at the scolding you gave Dave about 2008.
Who knows, maybe I will be able to make that one. B-)
