"What's Wrong with This Photo?" is the name of a seminar my wife, Robyn Raggio-Lavaneri, will be conducting, for the Buenaventura Artists Association (BAA) on January 20, 2007.

David,
After only a couple of brief emails with Robyn, it is obvious she knows her stuff. I am sure the seminar will be quite valuable for those that are able to attend.
It is seminars like hers and others around the country that sometimes make me long for the mainland. BUT.....I'll worry about that on the beach. B-)

Thanks for your kind words regarding my seminar! Yeah, I guess 25 years in the business and a BA in Photography gives me the right to do a little speakin' now and then! This is actually one of my favorite seminars, for I use the worst images I've ever taken as examples of what NOT to do! That act of vulnerability puts my students at ease and everyone feels comfortable enough to share their images.
I am currently penning a few articles regarding Color Correction, Digital File Manipulation, etc. for sublimation, large format fine art prints and basic information for those just interested in making their photos "better than the average bear." Those will be available through EE in the near future so stay tuned.
Thanks again for your vote of confidence and I look forward to seeing you in Vegas.

Robyn will be in Las Vegas and I'm sure she'd be willing to "talk shop" with you and other photography enthusiasts. :-)

Seriously though I think having Robyn contributing to the forum more frequently will be a good thing.
