Full Version: Annual Number of Posts

I thought some of you may find these statistics interesting.

With thanks and gratitude to Cherie Derrick (Empress of DSSI) and her husband Terry Greenlaw, we moved from Delphi Forums to Beehive Forums in May of 2004. (For more info, see "Our History" as detailed through our home page.)

By the end of 2004 we had generated 5,303 posts.

The year of 2005 saw a total of 20,424 posts.

Although a few hours remain in 2006, as of a few moments ago, we had 31,567 posts.

I know, I know, not all were serious posts, but those of you non-punsters will be happy to know that only 253 posts were devoted to puns. :-)

Well...that's not entirely accurate.

Those were posts within the Pun Zone, which is a folder that was only recently created.

A heart-felt "thank you" to all who actively participate, in driving the action and providing something for the guests and vistors to read. :-)

All the best, to you and yours, for a healthy, prosperous 2007!

David,

With that level of growth, there must be something worth discussing here and people worth discussing it with. All I can say is that I'm glad to have been part of Engraving Etc. for part of its young life, and look forward to its future growth and expansion.

David,
Congratulations on a very successful endeavor and I wish you much success in the future.

I greatly appreciate all that this forum is and all the help I have received from everyone. As I said previously, I have learned more here in just a few months than I would have in years on my own. It is nice, as a newbie, to be able to tap into the untold years of experience that this group possesses.

Thank you!

Gary

Thank you David and Gary.

David, for being a key player that the site would be much less without and Gary, for being one of our exuberant and active newcomers.

We've only just begun. :-)

I think Harvey's value and contributions go without saying, but I'd be remiss in not thanking him for being a friend and confidant, as well as a major contributor.

Thank you Harvey!

I do not have words to express my gratitude for the great business and personal relationship that we have developed here. The information, support and inspiration offered on this forum are extremely important to me. I could not count the times that someone here has helped me in some way. It can be as simple a reading a post that makes me smile or inspires me to try or learn something new. Knowledge is powerful, each of you have strengths that you bring to this forum. Thank you for sharing your strengths.
Thank you all for what you do and what you contribute, you may never know how you have help someone. Best wishes for a peaceful, joyful, successful New Year.

Dee & Joe,

The two of you have been great contributors to the success of Engraving Etc.

As much as I consider myself an industry veteran, the sharing of information, beyond my personal areas of expertise, has made me an eager and grateful student. :-)

Thank you,

I don't add too many post, but I get on here almost every day. I have certainly received more than I have given. Thanks.

Jer,

With 125 posts, I'd say you've been of more benefit than you give yourself credit for. :-)

Thank you,

The great thing is that everyone here helps - some by asking, some by answering. How often has someone asked a question and it's something that others have in the back of their mind and are able to apply it as well, whether a skill, a concept or a plan.
