I hereby nominate Jeanette (THE one & only) as the official Social Vice-President.

With her personality and connections, there's no limit to the fun!

Hmmm.....she might even show certain equipment manufacturers the huge benefits of hosting this event for us..... ;-)

Flattery will get you anything you want! ;-) I know you're still trying to make up for that whole "go meet Roy & Randy" comment the other day. It's okay -- you're off the hook!

Jeanette - I was really praying that you might see my post to David - I knew that you were online at the time I posted it an figured you might be in the know about the Xenetech parties. Thanks for your help.

David,
Joe has the solution I think. While the Captains lounge is really nice, and would be a lot of fun a simple meeting roome with a no host bar a pupu's ( appetizers) would work just fine.

Think back to the A&E show in Long Beach two years ago. It was truly just that a meeting room with appetizers and no host bar. Everyone seemed to have a GREAT time.

Just my two cents.

I also vote Aye for Jeanette being second vice president to the commander in charge of the president of the catering/entertainment department chief of the organizational committee chair staff.

Do we have a day yet? I need to make reservations for Cirque de sol whatever "Love".

Thanks

Chuck,

That's the direction we're looking into. As Joe says, the main objective is to find a spot to rub elbows with our comrades. :-)

Thanks for the input.

While I would gladly vote for Jeanette for anything, did you read this back before posting? How did you type that in only one breath. At least I use commas to allow someone to take a breath.

Just think of the price of THAT name plate when she goes into thingsremembered to get it engraved. 8-O

ex: $3.00 per word - that would be $72.00, but the good news is - that includes the plate! (devil)

DUDE!

Thursday or Friday? Since it appears that a meeting room is going to be the way to go I submit Thursday, but it really doesn't matter to me one way or another I just need to know so I can make reservations for the Cirque Du Soleil "Love" at the Mirage.

Thanks

Chuck,

We're still gunning for Thursday. Still some calls to be made, but (fingers crossed) I think we're on the verge of a very cost-effective solution.

Thanks. I think we decided to try and book for Saturday anyway just in case. I mean what would the beach party be without ME?

Chuck,

I've seen Cirque de Soleil's "Mystere" at Treasure Island a few years back.

Almost worth missing a Beach Party for, but not quite. :-)

Actually, it was amazing. Have fun at their show.

Lisa,
I booked our tickets today. We are going on Saturday the 24th at 7:00 pm.
I have the sound track on my ipod right now and it is GREAT! Have you heard it yet? George Martin still has it. B-)

I bought my husband the cd set for Christmas! As soon as he puts a cd player in my truck... Otherwise I'll have to my daughter's headset!
