I've made a flyer but with all the graphics it takes forever to print...but if I export it print it, it works good...except...instead of the image being centered, it comes out at the right hand side of the page...this happens even if I move the way the left and then export...I'm useing X3...any ideas?

Dave,
Sorry...I'm exporting it as a jpg. When it opens, it opens in Microsoft photo editor...so I was printing from there. And I'm printing to an OKI 5200.

Let me know if you need more info to help me out. I'd post the flyer but it's rather big.

Mike - rather than export to a jpg. Why not publish to a PDF file? For a flyer that your printing I believe it might be a good solution. To "publish to a PDF" in Corel go to File then 2/3 of the way down you will find - Publish to PDF.

Good luck

I would go with Joe's suggestion. To do it as a jpg you would probably need to to place a white frame around it, or a white rectangle behind it to make sure it exports an image the full size of the page, not just the size of the images you want on the page. You can export as PDF and then print from Acrobat Reader.

Mike,
I had a similar problem recently. I was printing a graphic with text. It printed to the left of the page. I called tech support for the printer, they had never heard of the problem.

I ended up moving the graphic around on the page until it worked. Wasted several sheets of paper and ink.... only to discover.... (boy was I embarrased) that the paper selection in Corel and the paper selection in the print driver were different.

Have you checked that?

Thanks guys,
I like the idea of trying to publish it to PDF...I didn't even think about that...

Chuck, I looked at the paper settings but it prints right from X3, just not a program like "microsoft photo editor".

Thanks again,

Mike

Cool learning something new that you can use all time, isn't it?
PDF is also great to email a proof to someone - nearly everyone has the capability to read them and if they don't they can download a reader free.
Anyone that does not have Adobe Reader are still in the dark ages.
