We'll try to keep a stiff upper lip at this year's ARA Las Vegas though. :-)

David,
There is a well known phenomenon know as "Jewish Mother Guilt". Since I am both Jewish & a mom I will lay out the non-arguable facts for you.
You have made a promise in writing. I expect you to live up to your commitments. If you don't, none of us, & I repeat none of us, will attend next year's show. So, I want you to understand the repercussions we will face if you do not live up to your promise. We will not be able to attend the ARA show, we will not be able to attend classes, we will not be able to meet and talk with suppliers, we will not be able to see all the new products available to us, we will not be able to get show special pricing and WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE 3rd ANNUAL BEACH PARTY!
So, my son, start planning now. Every night before you go to bed I want you to review your commitment and make sure you are on track. On the 1st of every month I want a written report showing how your plans are progressing. If I don't get this report I will have to take one of your toys away starting with your IS400.
Remember my son, you hold our plans to be there in 2008 in your hands. It is a big responsibility so take it seriously. But most of all know this, we love you and want only what is best for you and your business.
Now, go wash your hands. It is time for dinner. We are having chicken soup with knaidlech.

That is the jewish word for matzoh balls. They are round golf ball shaped things. They are usually made with ground matzoh, eggs, salt and a little bit of seltzer. The ones you get in a diner are horrible!

Can I get you to rescind your post? It makes me really nervous and I may not be able to function over the next 12 months, which then would put me in a position where I just couldn't afford to go. If you do, I've also got an order for ten sterling silver dog tags for you to Metaza. :B
