Full Version: Using Corel Draw for Plotter

I have a vinyl plotter that I purchased from sign warehouse several years back. Not an expensive model, think it's called a Bobcat. We have the VE XI Master Program which works fine. I think that it is possible to send a file directly to the plotter from Corel which would be ideal from me as I spend most of my day in Corel ..... question is that I have absolutely no idea how to set that up. Any help with that will be completely appreciated.

Unless I miss my guess, design your work in corel, save it and then export, then import to plotter software. I have done this with my plotter.

Have you tried importing the Corel file directly when you set up a new page? I'm using CoCut Pro with my cutter and it imports the Corel file. I would think that since the cutter uses vector pathing that Corel would be a natural import.

It should be, if the plotter has a printer driver associated with it. If not, you'll have to contact Sign Warehouse or the mfg (GCC?) to see if they offer a printer driver for your plotter.

Try the drivers at GCCWorld: Link

or try the drivers on this page: Link

Thanks for the suggestions. I will contact Sign Warehouse's tech support.
