Hi All,
I'm trying to make an outline of a clipart teddybear that I want to cut out of acrylic. I'm using coreldraw 12. Is there a simple way to get this without drawing it by hand. I got as far a turning the whole object white and making the hairline outline black. I then made it 104% the size. I had to bring out a couple of corners so when I picked the shape tool and clicked on the object the outline showed 272 different nodes.
I couldn't figure out how to bring the node total down to a couple without clicking and deleting them one by one. When I picked select all nodes and delete the whole object disappeared. I'm sure there's a simpler way and would appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Tony

Look up at menu bar. The bottom bar is the property bar for node editing. The last item is curve smoothness. It starts at 0 and as number is increased the number of nodes decreases.

Hope this helps
