You may remember, a while back, Ray Vell mentioned he would investigate getting a decent price on fire extinguishers, for anyone interested.
I'm posting this message on his behalf, as provided in a PM:
Okay, I finally got pricing for everyone, However I found out I will need to get D.O.T. Trained before I can ship them. I am willing to do this, but it would be nice to know what kind of response to everyone wanting to purchase. I don't know if you can put this on the main page to get an idea of how many people are actually wanting them.
They will ship FED EX Ground to any location in the U.S. at the price of 2 1/2lb. units for $130.00 5lb. units for $170.00. This price includes tax(if applicable, in Texas)Freight and Hazardous Freight. If anyone else wants them outside the U.S., I will have to see what additional charges would be. The D.O.T. training and paperwork will take about 2 weeks before I can get cleared. The 2 1/2lb. units are special order (2 weeks), the 5lb. units I will have in stock. The units are all "NEW" in original manufacture box. They will have shipping tape on the flap because I will have them "Tagged" for any commercial application in Texas. If any other State require tagging, it will be up to the owner to get this done in their state. All sales will be final, no returns.
Any help on your end on getting this on the forum would be greatly appreciated. As I stated in the messages I currently have a Halon unit for my system, and dread every having to use it since I cut a LOT of Acrylic.
