We have an industrial job laser cutting 1/8 " plexiglas. Any suggestions as to speed and power. We have a 40watt NH. Also 1/8 and 3/16 cell cast material to do.

Larry,

Most often, an equipment manufacturer will supply guidelines, for a variety of materials, in the owners manual.

Probably not 3/16" thickness, but I would think 1/8" thickness would be covered.

We ran the 1/8 at 75 power and .08 speed and it worked great.
Will try the same on the 3/16 as we want to run the job tonight.

Larry, I cut a lot of acrylic, mirrored and clear. Please see the attached power listings. I have an Epilog 40 watt Legend 32EX. Any questions, call me.
