Patty,

I've called tech support, who says it's something on their end.

I guess if there's any good news in this (not much) it's that we're still online. :S

Didn't you watch the Super Bowl???

Don't call tech support. Call and ask for Marketing -- that's where everyone is.

Jeanette,

Shows you how effective the ad was. I'd forgotten all about that. :-)

Maybe they would like a few testimonials as to their speed to use in their next ad campaign. (devil)

Dee,

I'm getting very close to saying it's time to "Go Daddy."

Hoping that's not how they came up with their name.

I've always liked Go Daddy as a registrar. This forum is my forst experience (that I know of) with them as a web host. So far I'm not impressed.

On the other hand, it's hard to find a flawless host.

Dave,

We have forum members whose hosting is through Go Daddy, who aren't having problems.

I'm losing patience, but until we can isolate the reason(s) for the extreme lag times, I won't be looking to change horses.

So it's the forum that's slow - I thought it was my computer so I got a new high speed Laptop. :-$

I guess it's ok that the forum is slow I don't read fast anyhow. :/

Mick,

Too slow, too soon after the last episode.

As much as Go Daddy says it's nothing on their end, we may have to test that theory, in the only way we can, which is by changing our hosting company.

Stay tuned.

If you gave us an ip address to ping, you could get several trace routes and see where the actual delay is occurring....This could be sent as a report to the go daddy folks as proof of the problem being theirs, or it would show you where the problems lie......
