Al,

You realize we'll be looking for a report after the meeting, don't you? :-)

Have a good time rubbing elbows with people at the meeting.

Sounds like a great and informative time will be had by all.

David, I am really looking forward to it. I like this glass and acrylic applications and want to learn a lot about the different ways to embellish them.
Who would ever think I would be rubbing elbows with engravers again. I have had a whole week of past experiences with past associates. It is almost scary.
I sent you some samples. I should have sent you some trophy gold plates as it is stunning.

Dee,

Although I don't see the New Jersey meeting being publicized on the ARA web site, I understand that ARA member atendees will qualify for CEU credits.

I've listed the event on our calendar.

Are the people who attended this meeting, last night, still basking in the afterglow? :-)

It was a nice meeting with good information and samples.

If time permits I certainly will go to the next meeting. It is currently being planned for September.

We saw the ChromaColor system demonstrated, and had the rotary and sandblasting arenas of marking glass covered. I did a minute or two about the forum and Beach Party.

Subtoner Al was there with a bunch of samples of things done with his white toner process. Pretty impressive. When used on dark items, (on the surface rather than being viewed through the piece), the white toner acts as the bonding agent to the piece. It does not need to be coated first. The adhesion of the white toner and its flexibility was quite impressive.

Everyone attending plans to go to Vegas.

All in all it was a relaxing informative evening, even the messy weather conditions did not dampen spirits.

Dee, if you are accruing CEUs for certification, would your presentation count as credits earned? Just throwing this out if you are in the program.
See you in Vegas B-)

David,

If the ARA would sanction the Beach Party we could get CEU credits!!!
1. It's educational
2. It's business/profession related
3. What else, surely someone (Hula Boy :-) ) can help me.

Toni,

I don't know about CEU credits, but you'd think a comraderie merit badge would be in order. :-)

Hi Toni,
Yes the complete program could have qualified someone for credits but I am not in the program. I've thought about it but never done it. I understand it takes 4 years to complete.

Dee
