Hi Ray,

I would suggest that you go to the "links of interest" drop down box at the upper right of the page, and click on the link to DSSI (dye sublimation forum). Register and ask your question over there.....There are all kinds of people that can help you with a problem like you're having over there....Not that there aren' t any over here.....but you will have a higher chance of hitting an answer with so many people that have worked through problems like yours.

Hope this helps......

I am responding with only knowledge of the inkjet sublimation, so the answers may be totally off.

With the inkjet, the absolute proper installation of the color profiles for the ink used is a must. Installing it wrong can make it be used twice or not at all. Inkjet ink is far denser in color than the OEM inks and different colors. If the laser toner sublimation toner is denser or not as dense I do not know. (Speaking of CMYK I am assuming color not black only.)

Check the settings in the printer driver, they may be very different. Check to see if color profiles are used. Call the toner supplier. (Best bet.)

What make laser printer?
Do you have sublimation toner in it?
Do you know if the printer settings are on toner saver?

I'm sorry guys. I thought I had posted that I found the problem. The driver that automatically loaded was QMS. I changed it to Minolta 2300dl and it worked. I guess that proves sometimes its better to manually load what you want and don't let the software do it.
