Full Version: Newing Hall/Xenetech-The marriage!!!

Anyway some of you might remember my post from last year regarding me blowing up a Xenetech MPU trying to hook it up to a Newing Hall table. Well this time I was clever, I unbolted the NH table just like a Meccano set, packed it in a suitcase and "shlepped" it over the pond (I'm in UK) to the good people at Xenetech who had my MPU . spent some time re-constructing the table and they sorted out the wiring, got the correct cable etc. and actually got the table to move (at least the X & Y, they had no air for the Z), I happily put my meccano skills to work packed the table & the MPU & shlepped back home.
Well I've set it up, sorted out all the table specs in XLG and guess what............. it works!!! ....BUT the computer crashes every time I turn the MPU on. to have a chance of engraving I have to turn the MPU on just before sending the job, any earlier and it crashes there and then. I have tried 2 different MPU's and 2 different computers (tried v.2.9 & v.6+ in XLG).
Any advice would be appreciated, and appologies for the lengh of my speal
