Hi these are etchings that were done using our sd-black granite.
the 5x7 is of my wife and me (our very 1st etching) the 12" round was done today. my son edited and lasered it. we all liked it and decided to get some feedback from anyone.

Hi Mark,
they look Great!
Mark, just a suggestion I think if you convert your attachments
to .jpg instead of .psd more people will be able to see it, since
in .jpg format the images can be view within the browser
otherwise it needs to open in a graphic program to view it and not every one have Photoshop.
Mark are you going to Vegas?

These look great. Can I ask what process you used? PhotoGrav? Speed and Power?

hi mike, we use photoshop elements and photograv. our settings are 17 power with 30 speed for a vy-tek 4496 with a 60 watt laser. we also used our sd-black granite. one of our concerns had been if we lasered images of african-americans(or anyone with a darker skin tone), how well would they come out? well, we are very happy with the results. thanks for your input.
normally with our sd-black granite we recommend, 25 power & 66 speed for your laser.

could you send me a price sheet of your granite? so far we've only tried the black marble from lasersketch...But the pictures you guys are getting look better than what I've been able to get. Anyway to get a sample piece to try out?
