When you are creating a post and hit the "Attachments" button that is below the window where you type in your message, a new popup window should pop up. Did that happen? If not, check to see if you have a popup blocker enabled that might be blocking that.
If it did, then in that window is a "Browse" button. Clicking that should pop up a standard "File Open" type of window where you browse to some place on your computer to locate a file you wish to upload. Once you select that file and click Open (or OK) then that file name should now be next to the Browse button in the Attachments popup window.
Next you need to hit the "Upload" button next to the Browse button so the file gets uploaded to the server.
And then after the file is uploaded you need to hit the "Complete" button above that to finish dealing with the attachment and have it attached to your post.
The popup window then goes away and you are back at the window where you are composing your message. Finish writing it and hit "Post" or "Preview". If you hit Preview you will still have to hit post after previewing the message for it to actually post it as a message.
