I'd call Epilog tech support. They're the best ones to answer the questions and trouble shoot the problem.

Hi Ram,

The RF power supply is a product of DEOS so there is really no way to test it out on the field. The way we test it here is bench test it. Typically when the engraver is not firing, this would mean the RF power supply is the culprit. To further diagnose this problem, please give us a call at 303-215-9171.

Best regards,

I don't remember what the EX model uses to ensure that the door is closed.

Our TT model uses two magnets mounted in the door. When the door is down, the magnets complete a circuit, telling the unit that it's okay for the laser to fire. When the door is up (even slightly), the circuit is open, telling it NOT to fire.

I only mention this because one of our magnets fell out, and I tried to run the machine before I noticed it. Of course, it didn't work. When I noticed that it was gone (fell inside the machine, onto the table), I immediately knew why it wouldn't work. Once the magnet was replaced, the machine worked fine.

I assume that you checked all the "simple" things like this, since you now suspect the RF circuit?
