I am toying with the idea of selling my Epson 4000. Has anyone seen a used one for sell and how much were they asking? I have no idea what to ask for it or if I should even sell it! I have another printer to do OEM and I don't have room for both. It is two years old and has the refillable carts with some Artanium ink (the carts are getting pretty low). It doesn't have a lot of use time because I have not done a lot of sublimation.

OR should I squeeze it in and get some original ink cartridges and use it as a normal wide format printer?

I know that none of you really know my needs, but I would like your opinions! I guess if I thought I could get a decent price out of it, I would go ahead and sell it.

How often do you really need a wide format printer? That is the first question to ask yourself. Next would it be better to get some income from it or just let it set? Only you can answer these questions.

A quick look at the completed auctions on ebay for the past month shows a handfull of 4000 printers in various conditions and with various amounts of supplies sold in the range of $350-$850 (most in the $500-$800 range). A couple of "new in box" ones sold for around $1250. At the same time a couple others in the $600-$800 range didn't sell.

Thanks! I didn't even think to check out e-bay!
