Hello, I need help to see if there is a way to view and save files from Vision 7 - Vision 5 ????

We have two computers at separate locations. We have designed our own ip address to located files in the server. But, the problem is that Vision 5 will not open Vision 7 files. ???

Is there any other way to assist us !!!!

While not what you probably want, can you do a "save as" in V7 to the V5 level so they would be compatible?

Ok! How should locate the " SAVE AS" file for Vision 5 ?

Steve is exactly right. You'll have to save the version 7 file as a version 5 in order to open it in ver 5.

Open the file in 7 click save as in the file menu. A window will open and to the right side of the window will be a drop down window which identifies the version. You click on the version you want.

By default when you open files in V. 7 it will save them as v.7 files unless you go through the process to save them as v.5.
