Full Version: Rayzist Question

Since they are closed until Monday the 3rd, does anyone know if they do sandblasting on their blank awards.

We have a rush order(is there any other kind) for up to 150 items that needs to be delivered by 1/14/05. With 4 days shipping to us and 4 day shipping to my customer, it doesn't give us enough time to complete this order.

Thanks,
Dave

Dave,

I'll ask what is probably a stupid question: why not try to get the blanks from another supplier who is open now..like Slee Corp in Chicago? Obviously, I know nothing about your needs, but I've found that most blastable blanks are available from multiple suppliers. I'm not sure where you're located, but it might even be faster to get them somewhere else....

I believe the answer to your question is yes, or they can send you the blanks and the 'developed resists', so all you have to do is stick and blast. I can't blame companies for shutting down between holidays, but this always turns out to be one of my busiests weeks of the year (end of year awards and budgets). I've spent (wasted) alot of extra time finding suppliers that are open this week and carry what I need. And on top of that found out that UPS is not delivering ground packages this Friday. UGH.

Mark,

I've tried Slee, Topmost, Toujours, CIP, Crystal by Design, Glassplax, Glass Graphics, Owens and a few more to no avail. This appears to be a Rayzist Exclusive.

Zona,

You are definantly correct about being busy and it seems the large requests this week needs items from those who close.

I was never able to figure out why they do shut down at year end. I'll be busy for the next 3 months with YE awards, God willing, plus my daughter will be visiting for the first time in 2+ years, finally back from the Peace Corps. Plus I almost forgot the ARA Show in Vegas comes right in the middle of all this.

Just curious...which of Rayzist's designs are you after?

8040, their chipped edge bookends. plenty of glass bookends out there with the rope edge.

Have a great New Year Mark!
