Here's a pic I took today.
This sign was made by one of my local competitors. I don't make signs, but if I did, I'd have this picture up on my showroom wall.
It's worth noting that this sign is now at the entrance to our back parking lot (as of this weekend). My landlord bought the sign at one of the local sign shops, and I guess he doesn't have much of an eye for detail. I'll point it out to him tomorrow, but I couldn't have kept a straight face when I saw it today.
Neither does my competition.

Cody,
It looks to me that with "misteaks" like that you have no "compitishun"
B-)

The "@" is actually the first thing that made me look at the sign. I noticed it before I even knew what any of the words were. Besides just looking like a lazy person made it, it actually makes the layout look unbalanced to me.
Although my regular customers know that I don't make signs, having this in our driveway (even if it is in the back) is still a reflection on us....so I'm going to let my landlord know about it this morning.

When you charge "per character" the customer wants to keep it affordable. :B
saved a whole 30 cents......................

The owner of the company had these made for me over 10 years ago.
It was a much smaller company then and after some intense turnover in employees I was promoted to "Vice President" by default.
I don't do sales so the one box has lasted this long since I rarely need to give them out.
Yesterday one of the asi assistants who grabbed one pointed out the problem. She was previously in the printing business. The other engraver and I were both taught spelling by nuns yielding knuckle busting rulers back when parents would applaud them instead of filing lawsuits.
This is the first time anyone noticed or at least said anything.
