I am looking for a wood and glass basketball case. Does anyone have a source besides Big Sky for this,
I am just pricing them right now. I have already called Big Sky and got a price from them, but am still looking around.
It takes a week for them to make it, and I am not sure when this guy wants it.
It is for a job from the Crown Plaza, and they want their logo etched on it along with a Welcome Globe Trotters on it.
I would also like advice on pricing something like this.

Barbara,
Considering the quality of work from Big Sky Woodcrafters and the caliber of your potential client, I wouldn't be doing much shopping.
Just my opinion, but I wouldn't make the Crowne Plaza a test case for the "You get what you pay for" axiom.
A high school basketball team? Yes, I'd be shopping.

I also think that way, and I love Big Sky, I guess I was hoping for someone who did not have to make them and wait for it, but I will probably be using them. They only take a week to do it, and they can have it a week from when I call them, so that will be ok. If it isn't, then I will just have to tell them they waited too long.
I had a sudden death in my family, and I am in Arizona right now, so didn't get to speak to the guy myself. I will be talking to him next week. I am flying back home on Sunday night and will be able to call him and talk more about it when I get back to the store.
