I stand corrected!

I wasn't at the shop last night, so I couldn't verify the angle.

Now that I can look at the tools, I can officially say that I'm using 140* diamonds for stainless, and 120* for everything else.

Thanks to all the responses.

Since I am diamond dragging pure silver, it looks as if 140* or 150* are in order.

Can anyone recommend a source for quality cutters online?

Thanks.

Several.

We use Artisan, since they are pretty close to us (Dallas, TX).

We've also bought tools from Antares.

Bruce Diamond is another.

Personally I would use a 130*.......lines are finer and you can push a little deeper to get better letter glitter.

Just my thoughts.... we all have them!

In this day and age, I'm surprised neither of the 2 recommended offer online ordering.

I didn't think deeper was better with silver. I thought it would leave burrs.
