Hi guys. I'm getting a blank page when I try to open this logo. I wanted to make sure that I wasn't doing anything wrong before I go back to the customer to send me another.
Thanks,
Tony

I imported the EPS file into Corel with no problems. Does that help?

I unzipped it then tried to import it into corel 12 but I keep getting a blank square. Maybe I'm unzipping it wrong. Can you send me the unzipped file back. Maybe That will work.
Thanks,
Tony

I tried your version and I still get a blank page or an invalid file format message. I've tried importing using ps,prn, eps and all files formats with no luck.

Hmmm....okay.

What version of Corel do you run? I'll import it into a CD file, and post that for you.

Here's a Corel 12 file. Does that work?

Thanks. That worked. I'd still like to know what I was doing wrong for the next time.
Thanks again,
Tony

Understood. As Cody can attest, I'm not the technical person in our business but if in case it tells you anything, here's what I did:

Extracted the eps file to my desktop.
Imported (with files of type selected as EPS, PS, PRN - PostScript)
Clicked on "import as editable & import text as curves" (default)
Presto! It worked!

I have no idea if I had changed any of the options above if it still would have worked. How's that for some tech support? ;-)

Tony;

When you IMPORTED or OPENED the file, did you select the "PS, PRN, EPS - Postscript Interpreted" filter? If not, give that a try.

Yes. I did that. That's why I'm confused as to why it didn't work.

I couldn't open or import the file with CorelDraw v12. But I didn't have any problems with X3.

Jeannette are you using X3?

Yes, I used X3 to import.

Here's the header to his file, which suggests that CorelDraw v12 is not able to read Adobe Illustratorv12 files. I have several v10 Adobe Illustrator EPS files that can be imported by CorelDraw v12.

I tried to import into Corel 12 and was also unsuccessful.

Illustrator 12 is Illustrator CS2.

The .ai files from that don't play nice with even X3, though I haven't tried exporting EPS from CS2 and import that into X3 (which from this sounds like it works OK)

And, BTW, Illustrator CS3 has been announced and will be out soon. So one more variable to deal with in the near future.
