My EXT is having problems. I have run acrylic samples 1 up for a customer and I have their approval to do 1250 pieces. I have set up the design to run 21 up.

The first time I tried to run the job 15 up it stopped on the second line of copy with a x axis disabled message. The clock continues to run but no key other than stop and go seems to have any effect. I had to turn off laser and back on. Each time it booted up and gave the x axis disabled message. On the third time it did not. It has run 3 successive times and stopped at different places in the first or second line.

I have shut down the computer, network switch adn laser all at once but it doesn't make any difference. Any ideas?

Does the head move freely left and right? It sounds to me like your X-axis motor may be getting in a bind.

We just have the TT, so I'm not familiar with the big machines.
