Does that include travel and lodging???

If not, can I still stow away in one of your suitcases?

Jeannette,
I will be back on Maui by then. If you and Daddy would like to take a day trip ( or even an overnighter) you have a place to stay.

Chuck,

Did you catch the established Hawaiian awards business that was for sale? If I remember correctly, the classified ad was in the Engraver's Journal. I thought of you when I saw it. If the location and the numbers are right, you might be able to hit the ground running when you get back to the islands.

Chuck,

Take some quick flying lessons and finance in an island jumper or a helipcopter and you'll be ready to roll.

David,
You and must make a point of meeting in LV. We seem to think alike. My marketing plan includes more than Maui, I just don't know how well it would work as an absentee ( sort of ) owner. Isn't this a pretty "hands on" business?

Chuck,

This business is as hands-on as it gets.

I have pondered opening a second location with a small showroom in the Kansas City metro area. I have spoken to a few people who have attempted second locations. Some have had bad experiences and others have had great success.

Before I would ever make such a move, I would need to have an existing employee ready do participate in such an expansion. That employee would have to have years of experience under my supervision so that they would clear understanding of my expections on all aspects of the business. Not only would they need to understand my expectations, they would need to execute them.

As I mentioned earlier, just pondering, not anywhere near a possibility for me.

He won't have time to make it over to Maui on this trip (it's a quick one) but we may take you up on your offer (if it still stands) next time.

Thank you!
