Johnson Plastics Sublimation Specialist, Kevin Lumberg, will host a Free Open House at our Columbus Ohio office, on May 16-17, 2007.

This event will run 2 days.

The first day will give you a chance to learn about sublimation, network with fellow sublimators, see finished products, and ask questions about the process.

The second day will be scheduled training sessions based on requests from attendees.

I submit you have one at MY office in June On MAUI! B-)

Thanks David, and Chuck....I don't know if I could pull that off....

We are going to have these open houses in each of our branches to be more accesable to customers around the country. We just had one in our Minneapolis Office and it went really well. Rather than having a set training, I scheduled the day based on what the attendees wanted to cover.

Everyone wanted to cover tile murals, so we sat down at a computer and actually layed out a mural in Coreldraw. We then printed it out and pressed it, going through all the steps. It was fun because people could ask questions, and make observations as we went through the process.

We will be tweeking the Open Houses to make them better as we go along, so we appreciate any and all feedback. That is also why the RSVP is so important, so that we can determine what attendees would like to cover and be prepared for it.

This is our full schedule for the rest of the year.

Apr 21: Winston-Salem NC
May 16-17: Columbus Ohio
Jun 21-22: Dallas Tx
August 15-16: Algonquin Il
August 23-24: Concord CA
September 21: Lawrenceville GA
November 15-16: Phoenix AZ

Hi David,

Yes we do. Generally we don't have our Sublimation Specialists at those locations, but we are trying to be more accesible to our customers. It is always nice to meet people and put a face with a name. We talk to so many people on the phone and really get to know them, but it still is not face to face. No matter how well you know someone on the phone, it changes for the better, when you have the privilege to meet them in person. In the age of mass communication, I think we sometimes lose sight of that.

Does that mean not all open houses will be sublimation-related, or will you or Matt be traveling to those locations?

Exactly why we treasure our annual Beach Party in Las Vegas and encourage people to attend the ARA show that just happens to be held in conjunction with it. :-)
