Full Version: Promotional idea with an example

I made a plaque a few days ago for my main millwork and mouldings supplier (for my construction related business) It had his cataloque cover and logo etc on it and basically was a gift to them that thanked them for being a great supplier. The guy loved it, and said could we change the theme so he could buy them to send out to his customers. It gave me the idea to make this to send to some of my better contractor customers. This of course, is a great conversation starter. Not an expensive thing, but I can guarantee I will get more business from it and probably laser projects too. Let me know what your thoughts are on this approach.

Love the look and the idea.

It just may get you more business from your supplier's "friendly" competitors, too. :D

Larry,

Excellent customer appreciation gift!

As you say, it's also a way to showcase your work, to people who would be likely to have you produce similar awards for their clients.

Nice!

Larry,

Great job......it looks good and I think you will get a lot of work from it. But I admire that you wanted to show YOUR appreciation to your customer. THAT more than anything will generate more business for you..

You are definitely on the right track.

I appreciate the kind comments!

Old saying goes..Nothing happens until somebody sells something, but the customer is the one that pays the bill..that completes the sale when the cash is in the bank! I am making more of these to send out. No occasion, just appreciation for their business. Never hurts to say Thanks.
