Hello All,

I have another diamond in the rough for you. Larry Carter is the owner of Heartland Laser Engraving Service.

Heartland is a company that has done YAG engraving for me for at least three years. Most of what Larry does for me is more on the promotional product side of things, but none the less, he can mark your metal!

Larry's company was originally in Kansas City, but recently moved to Salina, KS. (Don't know why one would do that.)

Here is an example of his over-the-top service. I sent him 25 mirror compacts for a client whose logo is made up of thousands of vectored dots. YAG was the only way to go with this one. I sent it to him on Tuesday of this week and it arrived back this morning, Thursday, with no expedited shipping.

The quality of his work has never been questioned and promptness makes your customer accuse you having a YAG in the back room.

He operates his business as a job shop, so all of his work is wholesale. His engraving charge on my mirrors was $2 each. I have had many jobs in higher quantities where I was charged much less than that.

If you have these types of jobs come through your shop, gladly accept them. Don't leave that profit on the table.

Here is Larry's contact information:

David,

Thanks for the info. Coming from you, that's quite an endorsement.

We have a "Job Shops" folder in the "Links" section. At the moment, Jimani, Inc., another pinnacle of efficiency and value, is there.

Two peas in a pod :-)

David,

I spoke with Larry and he does not have a website currently. I tried to enter his company name with a phone number, but the links feature requires an active URL.

David,

Hmmm...we'll have to find a means to list the "Unsung Heroes."

Having the contact info in the thread, means as soon as the post is read, it disappears from sight.
