Here is something new I am doing. 1/8" cell cast acrylic backed with a piece of black felt. The other picture shows what it looks like unmounted and unframed. Was done on a Epilog 45 watt Laser

A J,

Is the image engraved on the front, or back, of the acrylic?

Engraved on the back with black felt behind. The felt I use I get at a local craft store. Comes in a semi-rigid sheet anout 24" x 30". Costs I think $.79.

What kind of customer feedback have you gotten?

This picture is for me---my grandmother about 1910 or 1915. I have showed it around and expect several orders to come in this week. It is quite easy to do and the materials cost next to nothing. This picture cost me less than a dollar in plastics. I don't have a shop so I won't sell picture frames. There is about 1 million different ones. I will just do the picture and include the black backing. A 5x7 should go for $25-$30.

AJ,

Sounds like you're on fire. Low material costs + High perceived value = Very lucrative endeavor.
