Full Version: Need Wood Trophy Supplier

I have a customer that uses a custom made "Hole-In-One" trophy that was made for me by Wood Memories. I have not ordered these since mid year last year. Went to order more and low and behold the number is no longer in service.

Has anyone here ever used Wood Memories as a supplier? If so, are they still around? If not any suggestions on who might supply some of the same type items. The one we ordered was approx. a 6" x 6" glass square on a wood base w/ a wood cap with a golf figure on top. Inside the glass was a golf tie to hold the golf ball used to make the hole-in-one.

I've been going through my catalog files and don't seem to be able to come up with a source. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have one left in stock and a order for 4 trophies.

Thanks,
Kathe

Kathe,

Do you have a picture you could scan from an old catalog to show us? We may be able to visualize what the piece is more clearly.

Kathe,

Custom woodworkers are becoming scarce. A good one, I know of, is Valor.

You can find them in the "Links" section.

Edit: Oops! Just looked in that folder. Don't foget Doug at Lavivrus :-)

Mark,

That's a good one for our "Links."

I can get around to it, or you can beat me too it. :-)

Thanks to all. I will get on this right away. I will scan a photo and post it. Didn't have my catalog when I posted yesterday. I'll have it posted by tomorrow.

Thanks everyone again for sharing your resources.

Well, my blonde moment just got the best of me. My Husband asked if I had heard anything from this forum on the trophy as our customer order another today.

A big Oops on my part. I scanned the picture before I left to go out of town Sunday afternoon. I just forgot to post it. I will make sure I do tonight as I need to get these made asap.

Chaulk another up to what I call a "ID10T" error.

Here is a picture of the trophy that I am looking for. If any of you have any source for anything that looks remotely similar, please let me know.

Thanks,

Kathe
