Just no Karioke. The people were good but it was way too loud. That was not why all were there.

Sad to say but I'll have to be missing Las Vegas this year. I am just back, and heading back over, to the hospital. My husband has had a heart attack (he's only 50!), without the usual symptoms. Had the attack about 3 weeks ago, and just felt crummy, like he had the flu, but without the usual symptoms. I've been nagging to get him to go see the DR, and finally this morning he said he would. Called me at work and told me about the heart attack and I thought he was kidding! But I guess not, and it looks like he'll also be looking at bypass surgery, so it really doesn't look like I'll be leaving town for anything in the next few months.

So you guys all have a great time, and post when you get back about all the great classes:(( you attended, and hopefully I'll be back next year.

Sorry to hear about your husband's situation.

I think I can speak for all of us, in saying, we hope your husband has a successful operation and a speedy recovery.

First things first. The ARA show will be there, year after year.

Know that we will be thinking about you and your husband.

That is a very frightening experience to go through. Be thankful that he was only feeling lousy and it can be fixed. The recovery from the surgery may be worse than the way he is feeling now, take that as a positive not a negative, it will pass. My father's was not that easy and he lived a productive life afterwards for many years, and enjoyed it. [He died of kidney failure at 89, not from the heart attack earlier.]

We will see both of you in 2007.

I didn't notice a * after Paul and Rich's names. I sure hope they come Thursday night. Got to meet Paul last year but have never got to meet Mary, Rich and Lois :-( 

Sure hope they will be able to make it Thursday night in an environment that we should be able to talk in :-)  (Beaches instead of Quarks).

I'll try to get Paul and his possee to confirm for "The Beach". Probably won't take too much persuasion. Paul loves a good party:-)

Paul originally said they would be at Quark's, on Friday, after the show.

I mentioned Thursday being the night of the "Big Blowout" and I'm sure he's giving it serious consideration.

When I tell him, "his public's" waiting for an appearance, that will probably swing him over. :-)
