Did you use your rotary attachment on that? How in the world did you get your design all the way around the circumference of the egg?

Yes, the rotary attachment would have been used. Eggs are surprisingly tough. We used a little double-sided tape to keep the egg from slipping in the rotary attachment.
I cant see how a rotary attachment could have been used on that egg , or in fact , a laser? Im talking about the one in the pic on the stand , maybe I'm missing something here?
LOL! Can't speak for Joe's egg, but mine was definitely done on my laser with the rotary attachment. I'd sure feel a lot better if Joe's was a belated April fool's joke! I've seen some very intricate eggs done with a dremel. Can't see the same level of detail happening with the laser - it would probably collapse within the rotary's grip. Again, not sure where the market would be for this sort of thing, but it was fun to try. ;-) By the way, fair warning to you all, these things STINK while being laser engraved! >.<
