Shaddy;

{EDIT: Forget it. I think I found it: Namedropper}

Do you remember the name of the commercial product that is an add-in for CorelDraw that will create name tags? I tried searching for it, but I couldn't find it. I thought it was even on the forum in one of the VBA posts, but I couldn't find it there either.

Mike;

Here's one solution, but I don't know how good of one:

It's out of my price range at $399...

LaserMike,

EngravePro($499), Namedrop Express($399) and Xenetech GW($799) are all terrific programs; it sounds like you have the quantities to justify. But Corel will take a tab delimited list of variables straight from Excel and populate an unlimited quantity of nametags with an unlimted number of variables. And, it's fast & free! But youh nay utter bad words a bit till you get the feel of it.

I remember something similar, but I also can't find it. It was probably in a semi-related thread, so it's hard to search for.

Thanks all for the info. I need to put the nose to the grindstone and find a solution that works best (for my application)

I have heard from here and other people (not in this forum) that Engravepro was the way to go.

I'll have to give Shaddys application a close study as well.

Right after I go through Roy Brewers site and tutorials.

As well as the handfull of scripts/macros that I have been given to try.

...right after I finish Christmas shopping! 8-O

Thanks again all for your help.

Now, I have a real important post to get to in the "You're toast, buddy" thread. :P
