Here is his prompt response.

hello,

yes,of course,but i`m in vacation right now.i will let you know in about 2 days,if that`s ok with you.ok?
i look forward to hearing from you.

He may be going from "in vacation" to "in jail" if I have anything to say about it. I will qualify that by saying that he is innocent until proven guilty. So far, he has done nothing but list an item on eBay just like the rest of us.

I just kicked the bid to 100K! What a scam. Here is what E-Bay said:
Dear Frank,

Thank you for writing eBay in regards to the problem you are
experiencing. I recognize your frustration and want to quickly and
responsively address your concerns. As an eBay member myself, I can
relate to this type of situation. Your concerns are very important to
me
and I hope to help you resolve it as fast as possible.

First, I would like you to know that I appreciate you trying to make
eBay a safer place to trade. From the looks of your 99.9% feedback
score, I can see that you are an outstanding eBay member. Frank, if a
member violates eBay policy, we will investigate the situation and take
appropriate action, including issuing a warning, suspending an account
temporarily or indefinitely, or terminating the membership. However, to
protect the privacy of all members, we can't disclose information on
another member's account, and we can't provide the details of our
investigation.

Frank, I understand the frustration regarding this matter and apologize
for the inconvenience it caused you.

Sincerely,
Dylan

Frank,

I will be contacting the seller tomorrow to remind him that my sister will be coming by to take a look at the machine. I sent him another reminder today via e-mail. What do you think the chances are of her ever seeing the machine? I'm anxious to hear what his next excuse will be to string me along.

The chances of her seeing it may be excellent IF it is sitting in the middle of the empty lot he is using for his address..... :B

Well, there goes the week's entertainment. :-)

I wonder if the person will still contact David T., knowing what a live prospect he has on his hands?

Hey Frank, what's going on with your Ricci Tool web site? If I go to
http://www.riccitool.com and click the line that says "Enter here" I'm taken to a temporary holding page on Verio. I sent you an email back at the end of 2006 about it but didn't hear back.

The site is history I lost it and I can't find it. Someone changed a server and it is gone. Kiss $10,000 good bye. The developer did not have a copy.

My personal opinion is that if the developer did not have a copy, he should redo it for free.

My site was built over 10 years ago. I should get something up there but the tooling is not my focus any more, the engravable Items I sell are almost my entire business!
Most of the tool and die work for lapel pins, brass awards, badges, and jewelry have all gone overseas. No sence trying to compete with overseas merchants, there raw material Brass, Copper, Nickel, ect is cheaper than here.
At one time I was manufacturing 300,000 pins for HOG which is now in China. When I talked to the customer they told me I could give them the item for FREE and I would still be too expensive, the packaging and finishing is what killed the project!

Frank;

Was the site hosted by an ISP? Have you asked them if they have backups?

Frank, what would you say if I told you that I could travel back in time and make a copy of your old site for you?

Well, it's almost true. Here, take a look at this:

Dave, Looks like the entire site is there! :D

There is an html program and I forget which, that will let you import the entire site by downloading everything including the linked pages and graphics.

I am tempted to say it is Frontpage, but not sure. :-$
