When I open a previous layout I go straight to the material with no music. When I open the program to create a new layout I do get the music.

If you are going straight to the material layout screen from the program I would suggest doing a fresh reloading of the program.

Of course, the first move would be to contact New Hermes support and wait for your return call. It will likely be a day or so before you hear back. :-(

Yup.. Thing is that it doesn't happen all the time. For example, I booted up this morning and it was fine.

I contacted them, tho, and await their response...

I would love it if it did not show that terrible screen and music. If I am booting the program I hit Enter twice to bypass the screen and the material screen.

I have over 3,000 layouts saved and find it is best to open one of them that is closest to the one I am going to setup and alter it. At least that way all of the machining parameters are already setup.

How many here use Models as opposed to Jobs? They are a great feature for many reasons.
