Years ago we had a flat cat purchased by our daughter from Quincy Market in Boston. Our real cat was terrified of it. She would run past it and growl!

That's great, Dee....brings back a funny memory.

Many years ago, my former boss (job boss, not Janna) and I were in downtown Ft. Worth. There was a perfectly preserved, flattened cat in the street. Very little blood.

My boss put it in a plastic bag, and took it to our factory the next day. He then put it under a pallet in the warehouse area, with just the tail sticking out.

When the shipping/receiving lady came in and saw the tail, she screamed bloody murder! She thought someone actually set the pallet down on top of the cat, squashing it. I thought she was going to pass out.

This was one of those jokes that you can never 'fess up about doing....just have to act like you didn't know anything about it, or risk losing your job.......................or worse, end up flat under another pallet!

Forget flat daddy. They'll make a video with it. Invite them in to the kitchen or family room. (No bedroom visits was the rule in our house.) Play board games or cards with them. The dumb ones feel like fools when the parent wins and don't come back. The nice smart ones come back and hang out and can be fun. They'll even take out the garbage, move heavy furniture and wash the car if you promise to order pizza. We could never figure out why they all liked Dominoes. Yuk!
