High volume would require a large rotary die-cut machine and dies. It would be preprinted then run through the die-cut machine. Volumes for this equipment would need to be in the 100,000 per each item.

Smaller job runs will be more expensive per piece but can be done with the advice in the posts above.

I would out source this to Gill Line or Stouse, they have the $ equipment, before I invested in $ equipment.

Excuse my stupid reply. I guess I mis-interpreted what he asked. I assumed magnetic sign material when he spoke of cars and the ribbons and such. I'll read closer next time.

Thanks for all the advice. I was just wondering on a smaller scale of pieces, if anyone thought it would be a profitable venture? 1,000's not 100,000 pieces. Right now we have a design that we want to work with and we are waiting on the copyright work. Can't give any details on that, but I might just go ahead and out source it to see how it works.
