I'm considering buying sandblasting equipment as something to play with and as a change of pace from my business.

One concern I have is humidity. How does humidity effect the material used in blasting glass?

OK, guess I have another one....can one mix what they are blasting, ie, glass, wood...without having to do some type of cleaning process of the blasting media?

I suspect as I get deeper into this that I will have more questions. Feels funny to be asking questions instead of pushing my service! :-)

We have pretty high humidity here......so far it has not been a problem for me ........

Thanks for the update. It's been a while since I've checking in with that site, but it's still on my Favorites list. Since we haven't brought sandblasting in-house yet, that site hasn't been a priority - I've just been too busy. I used to be a lurker there though, starting at the beginning postings and just reading through them. I've learned alot just by doing that.

Talking to leasing folks now about making one big group purchase....now, what am I going to do with it all! :-)
