I was watching CNN last night and they were showing a home that was completely devastated. In the rubble the reporter found a single column trophy on a white marble base with a karate figure on top. It was engraved with the recipient's name and stated he had won 2nd place. It appeared to be undamaged and the only thing salvageable from the home.

If this trophy makes its way back to the owner can you imagine the stories that will be told for years to come with this trophy as the centerpiece. A simple inexpensive item with an incredible story to tell if it could talk.

Just a small reminder of the care we need to take as we go about our daily business.
