These are very functional, inexpensive and easy to make. It's a great way to make catalogs, web viewings or CD presentations of your products.

Hope it works for you,

Brian

Love it, easier than my setup, maybe that will be retired.

Engineering wise, great. Take the easiest to get items and come out with a professional resulting unit.

The most intriguing part to me is the white bedsheet as a diffuser. Very simple and effective.

Thanks for posting this.

One simple addition would be to get an additional backdrop that is made from the "green screen" fabric to make it easier to compose/extract/etc. the object being photographed when doing compostions for the final image.

Green screens (and blue screens) are not a simple thing to master. The color must be a very specific hue to work well, and even lighting is critical, using lights of a specific color temperature.

For most product photos a better alternative for dropping out backgrounds, at least for print or web images, is a white screen with a lot of light pointed at it, but moved back from the product so it doesn't rear light the object. That way the background washes away into pure white.
