How can I turn off the high interest default on any thread I post in?

Go to "My Controls" in the menu bar, then select "Forum Options" in the left hand column. You will then see the option to activate or deactivate this feature by clicking the box.

I didn't have it checked but the "all forums" box was checked... now neither is and I will let you know if I have more questions.
