Sorry, I should have been a bit more clear. What I'm trying to find is who is providing this backend web service. I have found at least 2 dozen dealers whose web sites match the basic template, look feel and product. I think it is probably a service provided by one of the wholesalers but I just can't track it down.

Take a look at:

www.awardsohio.com
and
www.atawards.com
and
www.awardsbyregal.com

When I type in www.onlineawardstore it comes up with http://www.aaa-awards.com/ with access denied.

Hope this helps.

Dave

What's your name? Did we meet in Vegas last year?

I will probably have to break down and just ask one of these guys where the site came from.

I was in Vegas last year, we may have? My name is Mark Scott...

Update...

Apparently it is a product developed for a buying group, Award Associates of America. One must be a member in order to take part. At least I've narrowed the search down a bit.

It doesn't seem there is must current info on this buying group.

Thanks to everyone!

IT Works LLC out of Green Bay Wisconsin developed the custom program for about 40-50 awards shops who shared the programming expense. The guts of the program is Core Store v1.5.1. Do a Google search for "Core Store v1.5.1" and you will find all of the stores. You can contact IT Works LLC. http://www.itworksllc.com

Mark,

Were you working a booth in Vegas and were you at Quarks?

No, I was there as a buyer and never made it to Quarks. We may have met in one of the seminars?

All,

***following my unauthorized observations and conclusions having deal with some of the Associates for over 35 years*****

Award Associates of America was started as a buying group in the sixties. Bill Hess (Dallas) was one of the original 2 or 3 founders. For many years headed by Dave Taletson(sp?) out of Atlanta. This is a very quiet, very exclusive group of R&I retailers "by invitation only." In the last decade, many have joined as much for the "technology" as the buying power; they have a national warehouse in St Louis.

As I've been told by many of their members, they desire one or two members per state and an invitation must be approved (if not initiated) by the closest existing member. A very well run organization whose top requirement is impeccable credit (making them very desirable to suppliers of products & equipment); it is my perception that they purchase at lower prices than anyone else in the industry.

Thank you Roy. Knowing a few of the members, your description fits them perfectly. (Maybe some day, who knows, but I'm not there yet)
