Howdy y'all!

I'm curious...

Has anyone hear done business with Smith Wood in Chicago? I just placed an order with them for some custom wooden trophies.

My sales rep (Jim) seemed very concerned with making sure they knew exactly what I wanted, and that our companies would be a good fit for each other. GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION!!

I'm anxious to hear of anyone else's experiences with them...

I have dealt with them extensively. Jim is the owner, a man of ethics and morals, makes a quality product. A relatively small company on the north side of Chicago. I always remember him expressing incredulity several years back that a company like Alenite bought the cheapest particle board they could get, while he gets the best. He exclaimed to me that is the cheapest part of the product and it is the most important to what they are making. He's serious about quality and knows about deadlines. Plus, as you can see, it's easy to talk to the owner.
Best of Luck with them.

Hody to you too.
I just ordered some cusstom plaques. Nice work short turnaround.
I ordered 3 different sizes. Only needed one of each but got 4 of each. When I called them, they were very professional. We agreed that I would take half and we split the cost. That was fine with me.
I would deal with them again!
