Literally!

I just got a look at the wooden name badges Epilog is so generously providing our members, for the upcoming ARA Las Vegas show.

They've gone too far!! Way more than I was expecting! As mentioned, engraved wood, including the EE logo and a sweet layout!

Still hashing out a detail or two, but when the layout is finalized, I'll post a picture.

Thank you Epilog, and a special "Thank You" goes to EE forum members, for making this site such a success!

They are a work of art.

I am sure that they will be worn for a long and maybe even become a collector's item in the industry.

Very, very nice. Almost be worth making the drive just to see everyone and get the badge!

But, alas, not this year.

David,
Very nice. Good Score. Are you providing a list to Epilog with forum members names? Or do we just walk up and tell them we are an EE forum member?

Chuck,

Epilog was prepared to personalize each badge, but I asked them to create a generic "member" badge.

Maybe, as part of an Epilog demo, they'll make a personalized badge for you. :-)

David,

My quesiton was more of can "anybody" walk up and get one or did we need to "prove" we were in fact an EE member.... not so much for personalization. That would be asking too much, given their graciousness in providing the badges in the first place. :D

Chuck,

I can't think of a way we can prove we're an EE member, other than the fact that we're more informed and well-versed, in more areas, than many of the people attending.

That should be proof enough. :-)

I have been using a friend's portrait for the start page of the forum. I am coming out of the closet. You are right. We are better looking than the average Joe.
