Has anybody tried sand blast etching the new mirrored aluminum made for lasers? I would like to think that the dull frosted look on that super finish would look great.

Haven't tried it, but it would seem that it would make a great-looking plate.

Very interesting...just may have to try that with some of the samples that we have at the shop.

You are asking about the LAMA product, right?

Right. Mounted on a piano finished plaque board sounds very high end. Better than glass as it is lighter although that option is great to.
